This stunning museum, situated in Brentford in West London, is the perfect place to host a unique Cocktail reception or Dinner event with its unusual industrial interiors.

The space is brimming with history: upon stepping inside, guests will feel themselves immediately transported all the way back to the industrial revolution. Housed in a former waterworks factory built in 1838, the Grade 1 & 2 listed building boasts one of the world’s largest collections of working steam-powered water-pumping engines.

The venue features several event spaces available for hire:

  • The venue’s main event space: a large hall accommodating 150 people for a drinks reception or 100 for a sit-down Dinner
  • The engine room: set over three floors, this is the perfect space for a pre-Dinner drinks reception, and can host 150 guests standing
  • The courtyard: the perfect space for an outdoor event, accommodating 150 people standing (with a special /splash zone/ area for children)

Other additional extras include a doorman, engine drivers to operate the steam engines, and decoration of the main hall with flowers, balloons and candles.
